Lindy Hop

The Lindy Hop is an American swing dance that was born in the dance halls of Harlem, New York City in the 1920s and 1930s and originally evolved with the jazz music of that time. In recent decades it has been revived with a new wave of Lindy Hoppers storming the dance floors around the globe.

Homefront lindy hop hold dance classes at the village hall on a Wednesday evening with teachers Alan and Mandie. They have been dancing for five years and have recently accepted the challenge if teaching this exciting dance. They have both attended many classes throughout the county and along with specialist seminars and weekenders.
